Dee Stadium
The Dee Stadium/Amphidrome,
(located on the waterfront in downtown Houghton), as it looked in the early
1900's. The mural was painted by Keweenaw Krayons under the leadership
of artists Adria Simpson and Clyde Mikkola.
More photos of the painting process, which involved many, will be added
soon.

Benefit for Carson
Carson (who is almost three), is a regular
participant in the Keweenaw Krayons' art program. Carson was
badly burned several months ago and spent much time undergoing treatment at
a burn center in Duluth. To help defray expenses the family has
incurred with traveling, lodging, etc., the Woman's Roundtable of Keweenaw
hosted a Soup and Sandwich Benefit. There was a great turnout, but
because of the stormy weather, some people were not able to attend. If
you have a desire to help Carson's Family please let us know and we'll pass
on the information.
